My latest restoration Sony TR-610
#1

Hello Everyone,
Here is my latest restoration My little Sony transistor radio model TR-610 from 1958.
I had replace what I consider to be the smallest multi-section electrolytic capacitor this little tiny capacitor contains three 20 ufd at 10volts .
the one thing I have to do is to adjust some trimmers on the tuning capacitor because I noticed the factory seal was broken but the IF cans are still sealed .

Sincerely Richard
P.S. I will post a photo of the capacitor too.

They forgot to add the word "whopping" in front of the "six transistors" Icon_lol

Multi-section cap...wow, have never seen one in small transistor jobs. Do you have photos?

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Here you go the capacitor is 1/2 tall and like 3/8 inch in diameter .

Nippon Chemicon made I think, probably constructed like a jelly roll inside, much like a multi section twist lock can.
