is there a specail tool one uses to adjust the nuts on philco ? mine is a philco 60 has 5 adjustments on back of chassis. and a metal tool with heat shirk on the shaft  wont work  still distortes the adjustment

hoe this is the correct place to post a question .,. new here

thanks

Steve Davis here made the tool. He sometimes sells in on eBay or directly here.
Someone else also did.
Or you could take a nylon screw with hex head of the proper side, put it into some sort of a handle and use it.
Or form a plastic ballpoint pen into the shape around the nut.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

What size are the nuts? IIRC I have seen some old (40 years or so) alignment tool sets (possibly GC) that had what were essentially plastic nutdrivers.

I think klondike98 also made some, perhaps he'll see this and post a link.

Like Mike said it's basically using a nylon hex hand bolt.

Edit: I found a link with a lot of info about the tool:

Art, I have the Philco alignment tool, $15.50, shipped. If interested, send me a PM.

...and this topi has to probably move elsewhere: this subforum is for self-introduction.
