Schematic for 36-620F
#1

Does anyone have the schematic for the Philco 36-620F?  I've searched the Philco site and Nostalgia Air but couldn't find it under the year for             1936.
The tubes are 6A7, 75, 42, 78 (2), and 80.  I can find a picture of it when I go through the old radio pictures online, but no schematic.
This radio also has a .02 1000 D.C.W.V.  I can't seem to find one of those listed on the capacitor sites.

Thanks in advance - Dan

If you take a look your 620 doesn't have a year designation as the pre 1937 don't. That's why you couldn't find it under the 36-620 listing. Your 1kv cap you can take two .047mfd @ 630v and connect them in series to give you .0235mfd @ 1260v.

I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

That's an Aerovox branded capacitor, so a replacement, whether it has to be rated at 1000 VDC is unknown, unless it was found connected across the output transformer primary.

Thanks for the response. Now that I have the schematic, I can track it down as to the specific requirements.

Bob, thanks for providing the specific link. I guess I had blinders on or something, I just couldn't see it. - Dan
