Not a sofa but an old recliner we wanted to get rid of but our Maddy claimed it!

I was right, it's a chair.

Dog looks comfortable for sure; OK you can't get rid of the chair. There has got to be more room somewhere, so many radios to save, so little time.

No, don't get rid of the chair. Not only you will make the dog unhappy, but you will still not gain enough room for another good size console.
I am sure the dog will support me on that.

I have 2 37-116's Great sounding/performing radios. Seems to me I had to rewind the oscillator coils for one of the bands on both radios. Seemed to be a common problem.

Where did you get the recliner covers? I could use a few of those myself for my "fur-shedding baby". Take care and BE HEALTHY! Gary

Our cats made a sieve out of my leather couches, and the fur is, well, everywhere.
One of the cats' owner's rule is:"Cat fur is a condiment".

@rfeenstra, yup, had to rewind #2 band oscillator coil. First time I ever rewound a coil and you know the cramped quarters it’s in. Rewound it 3 times before it finally worked. It works but doesn’t track quite right but there’s not much on that band anyway so I let it be. Not pulling it out and doing it a 4th time!
@GarySP, my wife says she got it at a local department store, Boscovs. She said you can probably look online.
My shop, my son’s former bedroom, is where I keep the rest of my radios, tabletops. I do have my Philco 620 tombstone in our bedroom and a Zenith T/O in the kitchen. As far as room for any more floor models, there is none unless I put them in the middle of the floor.

It seems #2 coil (police band) is a popular problem.
When in Kutztown this last time, I spoke to a guy, who had to do it in 38-116. I told him I had exact same problem on my 38-690. Only I chose not to rewind it as the effort was not worth the result: there is nothing on this band, and to take it out I would have to do a lot of work.
