Just snaged on CL
#1

A little Philco Jr. Cabinet is good and sturdy but has no finish on it. Chassis is really dirty with some rust but should clean up well. And it came with it's original globe 80 and 42 toobs. Will get some pic's of it.

figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Nice find, definitely worth 45.00!! You could sell the globe 80 and 42 on eBay and make more than you paid for the radio!

Tnx $45 was just the asking price...

There are some other nice sets that have been on the philly CL. 90 console, 630 or 37-630 console and some others. All pretty reasonable around $75. I jumped in the 80 as soon as I saw it, about an hour after it was listed.

I always look at the 90 consoles, you never know when one with the 2-45s or 2-47s will pop up.

Here's some pic's of it.

Good catch, congratulations! Hopefully the globe 80 and 42 are good...

Both measure about 65 percent. Should work ok.
