Peter,

No one offers it to me for the acceptable price either.
But I find the price for this set grossly inflated. It's a fad, some people are willing to pay it, and, given the scarcity, I guess this is what the market is. The market is always right.
If I find one at a curb somewhere, this, I guess, is the only chance for me to own one.
If i find two, I will let you know. Though the shipping charges could be a b**ch.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Peter, maybe it's because our consoles look so much like New York City skyscrapers. I once met a fellow in my area who restored consoles. I toured his home and in addition to a console in every room plus the hallway he had a separate bedroom set up as a display room. It was full of Zenith consoles, 1920s coffin radios and horn speakers. Reminded me of Manhattan. It was overwhelming.

Michael, I will pray that you will be lucky twice... Icon_mrgreen I am even ready to fly to New Jersey to get it. Icon_lol

RodB, I can only imagine it ... But it is so nice to feel that I am not alone and that there are other crazy people in the world who have radio consoles in every room. Icon_mrgreen
