Need information on Philco Ford
#1

I recently acquired a Philco Ford TV, model B37OETG. It is orange and looks "space age". I bought it because it really looks cool and I am a fan of interesting and unique a/v equipment (although not really a collector). I cannot find any information on this model and was hoping that some people on this board could point me in the right direction. I'm interested in when it was made, how collectible they are, background and history of the model, disassembly instructions, etc...

It would be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Dave Goldberg

Hey Dave if you're still around check out my thread I think we're working on very similar models.

A SAMS photofact is the best place to start and well worth the $22.

The Sam's you need is #1559-2 and it's from 1976

I was down in the basement in my dad's

figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!

I recently bought a Philco-Ford 9" B&W tv model B370ETG at a flea market . I liked it because it looked odd. It is in an orange case . When I got it home and hooked it up to my satellite , I was totally surprised to find that it worked after a few adjustments . I have already been offered $100 for it . Not sure if I will keep it or sell it at this point.

Note from site admin: Sorry, but the photo which was attached to this post is no longer available.
