From what I've seen of the Hagstar's previous restorations, I have no doubt it sounds just a good as it looks.

VERY nice! Color me impressed! The 690 has been on my short list for many years now, they tend to be elusive and pricey. Well done!!

I recently got a 37-116 and have gotten it squared away and playing. It is easily the best sounding set that I have! I can only imagine how great a 690 model sounds.
