Philco 37-630 Chassis Mounts
#1

Hello, looking for information on exactly the 37-630 chassis mounted to the cabinet. Rubber bushings, springs or a combination? I did a forum search but didn't find anything yet. Can anyone help? Thank you!

See the attached picture, it seems that chassis is sitting on rubber bushes like any other radio. Icon_smile

Have not had that specific set, but believe it is 2 rubber mounts that go over the "lugs" in the front (where the controls are mounted) of the chassis and 2 rubber mounts on the bottom of the back of the chassis.

See the attached picture, for the front bushes for mounting.

I did see a chassis photo and it did appear that there were rubber mounts at the rear. With that I'll start looking for replacements - perhaps Renovated Radios. Thanks for the info.

I'd be surprised if Renovated Radios did not already have these. If not - and you have one to work with - he may work with you.

Yes, if you have a fairly good shape part, Ed can make one for you. He did that on a couple of rubber tuner parts I sent him. Ed is a great guy and always willing to help Icon_wink

Unfortunately the original parts were not with the radio.
Thanks for the link to the pnones - I actually have a friend that wants me to look at his old phone.

For phones that would be the place Icon_thumbup Ed will have the rubber mounts you need.
