How to remove glass bezel on 37-630
#1

Hi: I just finished the electronic restoration of my 37-630 and I would like to clean the dust under the glass bezel. Is there an easy way to remove it or do I have to dismantle the support structure on the inside of the cabinet? Thanks for any advice, John Icon_smile

Push the face in and give it a twist to the left.

Hey Thanks Terry: It's always easy when you know how. I couldn't find any reference on the net to the procedure to remove the bezel. There's one now thanks to you. Yes, I'm a copiertech . I've been soldiering away at it for almost 30 years now. Don't you miss breathing that toner dust? John

Nah don't miss it at all. When I started all the copiers I worked on where liquid tone jobs. Those blankity blank things would leak toner all over the place and where a mess to clean that's why nobody would clean them which caused them to leak more.
I have a friend still in the biz he's got about 30yrs too.
