Yes, good deal, I think. Although I recently picked the same model up for $20, yours seems to have a very nice original finish and has the proper cloth & knobs. Mine has been stripped, has a few veneer issues, has the wrong cloth (which is not being reproduced, btw) and had the wrong knobs.

I'm sort surprized these don't bring higher prices, such a nice console. We discused these in the Bel Geddes posting about a month ago...lots of interesting history go along with them. Question; any update on furniture factories related to the 112, mine has a stamp which says 'Factory 28'. Other factory numbers have been listed, I think Philcos with 'factory 16' stamp was Red Lion Furniture. I've been trying to find out who Factory 28 was for years?

I picked a Model 95 Deluxe up for $29, can see at this site, http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/albu...5997PzeVUr which is in great shape except the lower leg areas where bow wow "the bad" decided to chew on it. Great radios nice cabinets, once I find some lower legs I will be on my way.

Drew - I'll start a new thread relating to your questions.

Claude - wow, that must have been a hungry dog that went after your 95. That's a real shame.
