Cap question for the forum God's
#1

One problem I have as a relative newbe is Cap identification. Seems to be an infinate number of ways to determine values. Is there a single web site somewhere that covers all marking systems? I've got a bunch of small, and I mean tiny, ceramic caps marked with 3 numbers and a single letter such as 104M and others marked with just three numbers like 682. Any idea what I have here ? Did you Google for capacitor codes? Tons of hits there....

Here's a good one:

You did it again. Just what I needed, and it's so dumb down even I can use it with ease. My big problem when I do searches like that. I get to where I can't see the forest for the tree's. I just get so bombarded by info I loose site of final goal and wander off to La La land. Old age is creeping up slowly but surely...Thanks for all your help. Icon_biggrin
