Hi
I am now working on a Philco 37-640 that came without its original 8"speaker. Unfortunatly it uses a different type speaker from that used in other models, like the 37-620 or 630's or 60's series This speaker has 4 wires coming out it, going to the set. It Also has a center tap out of the power transformer. The number mentioed in the Philco data sheet for this speaker was Philco R 34 or H25. Does anybody out there have any information about such a speaker i.e coil size, 8 or 4 ohms etc. I would like to avoid using a PM type and keep the set as original as possible. Thanks
