Philco 20 restoration web page
#1

Hello,

Sorry for my english, but I'm actually working on e Philco model 20 I've purchased on ebay 2 month ago. i've made a web page to explain all the process to all the french lover's of philco radio...

If it can help somebody in the USA, I would be very happy.

Oups... The pages are in french, I'm sorry...

i've rewinded (I can say that rewinded ??) the main transformer which was burned. i've renew all the bakelite capacitor and the main filter capacitor. i've removed all the rust of the variable capacitor. lot of time but now the radio is fully working.

There's it 2 chapter i've not written : one on the speaker (the spider is in bad shape and the wire have been replaced) et one on the wood box. I'm waiting for a new grid cloth and 2 knobs.

Here's the shortcuts.

best regards
