Tube shield count
#1

Does anyone know the correct number of tube shields on the top chassis of a 38-690? I have eleven square shields and one round shield. I wasn't sure if the round one was original (looks like a Zenith 1936 shield) but I've now seen several photos of 38-690's with that round shield. Also a person I e-mailed said it is correct and pointed out that the radio has a round shield mount for the 6U7G tube.
I counted the shield bases on my chassis and came up with 12 total, but I saw a photo of one with 13 shields.
