TH-4 across the line cap
#1

I can not read the crappy schematic I have. Someone put a .15mf cap across the power line but this seems high. Can someone please let me know what the value of the cap is? The really packed all the caps underneath this chassis. The rubber coated wire is driving me nuts also. Icon_crazy

thanks

Thanks for the information. Will have to see if I have that value in a safety cap and try to squeeze it into the chassis.

thanks

Any cap under or about 1uF across th power line is fine, and the higher values do not hurt anything. Just make sure it is X-rated.
