Know model number now another question
#16

Good idea codefox although she appears to be older than me I'm going to bet she outlives me! She helped load the 111 in the back seat of the Camry and I swear she carried the majority of the weight. She indicated she plans to pass it on to her grand daugher when the time comes. I can't see either of my grand sons taking a liking to any AM radio.
I just got back from a 400 mile round trip with the necessary stops at three sewing and fabric stores along the way. In the back seat is my new replacement for the space I made for the 111. A nice Philco 90 lowboy! I'm worn out, may go to bed early.

I know this is a major topic shift, but try this when going on long trips:

Bring a small cooler and have several apples chilling in it. Make them your favorite variety. Chilled apples are refreshing AND they perk you up like a cup of coffee!!

I also have oranges in my cooler when I travel.

Aye. and let it be so.
