I was told this is a Model 20 ?

Can anyone confirm that this is or is not a model 20.

Yes, that is the late version of the Model 20 console. Seldom seen, although 16,100 were made compared to 70,000 of the older and more common 20 console.

I like the look of yours much better than the older version. Maybe you can send me a nice picture of it? Icon_biggrin

Ron;
Of course I will send you pictures. I don't have the chassis in right now.
I got the console Locally off Ebay for $20.00.
I really don't know why no one else bid on it.
It' sin very good condition.

I didn't bid because it was in your area...and the seller insisted on "local pickup only." At least it went to a good home. Besides, I don't have room for any more consoles!

Hi,

I too have a console like yours, Dan http://www.tuberadioland.com/philco20_co..._main.html . I just thought it was a variant on the model 20, but now, thanks to Ron, I know it's the later version! Somewhere (I think it was on Ebay some time back) I seem to remember seeing yet another variation on this model. Is this correct?

Paul
