#1

Can someone tell me how to find out info about a set i have...it is a philco console, but i can't find a pic like it on here. the face of the radio is on the upper front, has wooden buttons for selction, but also has 4 large dials on either side of the face. Has several different countries listed on the face/...along with AM and aircraft and several more..don't remember the others and i am not where it is at the moment...if someone could point me in the right direction i would be most thankful

Deb (sorry don't have a pic at the moment)

Hi Deb and Welcome to the Phourm!!!
Without a pic it going to be tough! You maybe able to find a small blue and white sticker on the inside of the cabinet that will display the model number. It may also be stamped in ink on the chassis. Most of the time it will be two digits a dash and one-three more digits. The first two will be the year it was made. Did you have a look in the Gallery??

Thanks Terry, i kept looking thru the gallery and think i found one that is pretty close...It looks like the 40-215RX only the buttons are closer together and are wooden

Philco never used wood push buttons. They where tenite which is an early type of plastic. Not known for it's longevity most have badly deteriorated by now. Replacements are available. Maybe someone hand carved wooden replacements?

Hello, Deb: try to get a pic to post here on the Phorum, that would be a major help in pin-pointing what you have.

She figured out at it's a 41-295. Now she try to find it's worth. I gave a few ideas...
