Shouldered 16B Size
#1

Is there a significant difference in the cabinet dimensions of the shouldered tombstone version 4 and the earlier peaked and slope topped cabinets? The shouldered version looks taller in pictures but that may be just an illusion due to the shape. I have never seen them side by side.

I am looking for one to restore and I think from what I have read I prefer the shouldered type code 125 but again, just looking right now and want to narrow down my search. Thanks,

Frank

The shouldered and peaked/sloped top are all the same height, which is just under 22". I prefer the code 125 shouldered version as well.

Please see this website for background information, measurements, and a side-by-side comparison.

I'd like one for my collection too. Good luck!

The website you listed shows the peaked top as being 3/8" shorter. I have all three and they measure exactly the same. In photos the shouldered version looks like it would be taller but in reality it is the same height.
