Cord for Philco M-7 Phonograph?

As I feared, the cord in the pulley system that controls the tone arm mechanism in my 46-1201 snapped today. Icon_sad

Does anyone know if the cord used in the M-7 phonograph is the same gauge (if not the same cord) used for Philco dials?
