list of common antique radio tubes

does anybody know where i can get one? i'm thinking of buying tubes in bulk (there's an ad in my local paper for some) and i don't want to get stuck with old tv tubes. thanks!

The best way to collect tubes IMO is to buy tubes that are used in the equipment you own or plan to own your self. Then slowly add more numbers as you learn more. If you want a complete collection of old radio tubes I hope you have a lot of room, time and money. Also expect some people to think your nuts.Icon_eek
