next project won't be a Philco
#1

Time to put my love of Philco's aside for a bit and tackle a couple of radios for sentimental value instead. I have my great-grandparents' pre-1941 Coronado C 800 console to get up and running again (anyone know exactly what year that's from based on the model #?). That was actually the very first antique radio I ever received, way back in 1981. It stopped working about 20 years ago and has been sitting in the basement since. Then I have my grandparents' 1942 Zenith 7-S-633 table model to get playing. Not sure which I'll tackle first. Both were purchased new, so they have been in the family for over 70 years.

Hey Greg it's all about fun, not manufacture. Enjoy and post your progress here.
