How to deal with blush
#1

Well, I should have known it was too humid to spray finish coat lacquer on today and now I have some blush to take care of. It's on the final step after I toned the "cheap" wood with Mohawk toner to darken it. What do you say I should do now? I don't want to have to sand and then retone several small areas including the grille bars on my Philco 38-1 console.

First of all wait for a day and see if it goes away.

Sounds good to me. I'm in no special hurry.... I've had to wait to get started on this cabinet since mid-February!!!

Mohawk No Blush Plus will make that blushing disappear like magic.

Great to have if you spray any lacquer anytime the weather is humid.

Going over it lightly with 0000 steel wool will remove it.

In NC I encounter this often.
