1963 Admiral record player
#1

[attachment=2308][attachment=2309]I am working on an Admiral record changer. It works great except for the mechanism that is used to select for the record size. I found that a part is broken. See pictures. The thin rod that sticks out is busted off. I think it is suppose to bend around and hook into the top of the size selector. I was wondering if by chance anyone has one that they could send me a picture of this part. Maybe I could make one. Or if someone had the part to sale.
Thanks Bob

I forgot to put the model number. It is RC7B1S-24H

I've got a very similar setup on my daughter's 1954 Admiral. I'll see if I can dig it out and get you some pics real soon.

It's not how bad you mess up, it's how well you can recover.

Thanks Eric. I won't need the pictures because I found a unit on Ebay that was being sold for parts and it is just like the one I got. What is missing is a spring arrangement. So it looks like I'll have some extra parts, so some time in the future I might be able to help someone else with a part.
Bob
