Speaker Field Coil Question

Looking to verify the DC Ohms of the Following Speakers

CATHEDRAL MODELS

Model 51 Philco 6 inch Speaker FIELD 2500 DC Ohms ??????

Model 80 Philco 6 Inch Speaker FIELD 1200 DC Ohms ???????

Would like to verify above readings on a know speaker.

Hi Bob

Model 50 and 51 used speaker "P" - field coil 1140 ohms.

Model 80 used speaker P-5 (early production) or P-6 (later production) - field coil 1140 ohms.

Yes, you can substitute one for the other as both have the same ratings.

Thank You, that is good news as yes that was my intent .
I have a 551 someone put a 2500 Ohm Coil Speaker in.
