What do I have???
#1

A while back I finished my Philco 18, or is it? It is an 18 chassis, but the cabinet is a 44H. It is a great performer, picking up a station from Cleveland Ohio, all the way in Cape Cod MA the other night. Not that it is a big deal but were such combo models made back in "33, or was the chassis swapped out at some point. I see that both chassis and cabinet are from the same year.

Apparently philco used whatever was left after a production run to assemble a complete radio, I have owned a couple factory miss matched philco's. Todd
