Hi, i just recived a Philco 52-480 from my aunt for my 17th birthday.

Nice gift indeed! As far a vintage price value on a 52 model bakelite Philco , you can watch eBay for going prices being paid for the same items in various conditions.
Unless your radio has had all the vintage "wax-paper" capacitors replaced under-chassis, it would be a good idea to service your radios "caps",.. if you plan to keep powering it on as a daily listener. Since you just turned 17 yrs old, I would highly suggest to keep that radio your Aunt gave you as a BDay present until you are 50 yrs old, or older!! It will be worth much, much, more then, and you probably wont want to sell it then anyways! Gifts like that, you cant put a price-on, so why ask here?
Enjoy your vintage Philco, & Happy BDay!! Icon_wink
