Recently acquired 116X pic
#1

The cabinet is in about 80% shape. Not bad. If I can touch it up, I'll leave it alone. The set is complete. All acoustic clarifiers are there, and not torn. Main speaker is also clean. The set works as someone in the distant past replaced the lytics. But it doesn't work well. Not that I care, as it will get a nice recap and over-all health check.

Brian,

Wow! That looks like a nice one. Vey clean and well preserved. It should be a great performer too, when fully recapped.

You will have to let us know how the recap and alignment goes.

I'll probably dig in later in the year. Probably well into fall. I have a few others, including the 116B chassis I need to finish. But I'll post the results or problems I encounter.

Great shape! Killer find. Icon_biggrin
One of the great ones for 1936.
It will sound fantastic once restored to proper "health."
