Grunow Alignment?
#1

I have a Grunow that I am in the process of restoring. It is a
model 532 with a 5H chassis, Riders vol 8 p24 has the schematic but the alignment instructions are not there. Model 566 chassis 5S looks to be the same, can I use these alignment instructions? Nostalgia doesn't list either one and radio museum shows only the schematic.
Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a schematic for a Grunow model 530, it looks like it came out of Beitman's:

http://radio.codegods.net/node/6340

That one is an AC/DC set, it says that the IF is 455, so you may likely feed the input in through the antenna connection in series with something like a .05 uf capacitor, or the grid of the #78 tube.

Riders 8-24 had the schematic but did not have the 5H alignment instruction. All the other models had the instructions that's where I came across the model 566 5S it has the same tube compliment and the schematic looked very close to the 532.
I like that site I will save it for future ref.
I will try to feed the input as you describe.
Thanks
