37 620 decal
#16

It looks to me like the "I" in "PHILCO" is almost right on the centerline.

Nevertheless...

Kirk, leave it alone. It's good enough. It will look like a Philco employee didn't get the original decal 100% centered. Like I said, there are some, perhaps several, Philco radios with off-center original decals.

I would leave it be too! Good 'nuff.

As for the center, the "I" is a bit left off the center, but a bit closer to it then "L".

However if you look at the letters, "LCO" Is quite a bit wider than "PHI" and so to keep it symmetrical "L" should be with its pole on or even a bit left off the center.
I guess it can get complicated.

Again, Kirk, it is good. Leave it where it is.

Ok I have finished the cabinet except for waxing.

I found the Radiodaze decal thickness to be much more than the last batch of decals I had. I had to add 6 coats of lacquer and it was still very much outlined. I had to sand and sand and sand to get it to blend.

Wonder if they printed it on a wrong paper?

Anyway I got the cabinet ready for curing. there is a peek at Mikes cabinet too!

Is the decal OK now? Ok I just looked and the pic is too far away. UGH!
I moved it to the center of the line and measured the sides of the cabinet.
The decal may not be perfectly centered since I had issues applying it.

Chassis is ready for re-insertion Icon_wink

This is what I woke up to this morning to work at the butt crack of dawn.
