Model 37-84 low volume on lower frequencies
#1

Everything done, caps and resistors, alignment....but strangely I get good volume on 1320 on the dial....but low volume on KDKA ....the big station in Pittsburgh and at 1020 on the dial.  The selectivity knob seems to do nothing...nor the antenna and osc. trimmers on the tuning cap.  Any thoughts????

So have you checked the ant and osc coils for open primarys??? How did the IF alignment go?? good sharp peaks when adjusting the trimmers??

Thanks Terry....yes IF peaked nicely....and volume picked up a bit in the lower frequencies.  Dial alignment is not bad either.   I am going to live with it for now.  Antenna and Oscillator trimmers were of no effect for some reason...same with selectivity adjustment.
