Model 610 Cabinet Color
#1

I picked up a Model 610 at the NJARC flea market this weekend and the case is in very good shape. Looking at pictures on the web I can not tell if the case is a single color, a medium brown on the one I have, or are the sides a darker color than the front panel. The lighting on web pictures can sometimes be decieving. Thanks.

Hi

The center part of the 610B front panel is Medium Walnut. The rest of the front panel, as well as the remainder of the cabinet, should be a slightly darker shade; such as Perfect Brown or Medium Dark Walnut.

Most people (incorrectly) refinish these cabinets in a single color...yes, including the one on my site's Gallery.

Thanks Ron. I like the two tone look better, as shown in the Model 60 I restored, but wanted to make the 610 case as accurate as possible to its original state.
