I really had to stretch my imagination and have found a couple of similarities which, speaking of cars, existed in other makes and models. But it is hard for me to see direct semblance.

I was referring to the wrap around grill work on both. Granted, it is a stretch, but a fellow radio collector pointed this out to me. Of course, he also owns a '42 Chrysler in addition to a 42-350, so he may be somewhat biased

Hi Greg,
I think that both are good examples of styling tastes of that era. That Art Deco representation of aerodynamics and streamlining was very common. My 1937 Pontiac has a similar theme with a center band of chrome stripes running down the center of the hood and trunk lid. there is also the "waterfall" styling of furniture with curved corners and edges which you see a lot of in radio cabinets of the time. And all the "dashboard" radios, i.e. the Crosleys of the early 1950s...like this one
