New to Philcos
#1

Hi, I am looking to buy a mint condition Predicta for my parents for Christmas. I have been briefly looking around. Namely, i have found two things; Telstar replica color tvs and restorable tv on ebay. I was wondering, first off, if anyone knows anything about Telstars and if they are quality. Also, where the best place to buy a predicta, and model, what is in exceptional condition.

Thanks

Feel free to email me if you have one for sale or have any further information on the matter of purchasing a working predicta in the near future.

Hi John, and welcome.

You might take a look at this website:

http://www.50spredicta.com/

Click the "Buy Now" link to see a few restored sets for sale.

I've seen pictures of those repro "Predicta" color TVs on the net, but never saw one in person; so I can't comment on their quality or lack thereof.
