philco model 20 chassis

hi all,are there any other cabinets this chassis will fit in?
can't find a good used one reasonably,don't have the money for a new repro and the cab i have is not repairable.

You're pretty much limited to Model 20 cathedral or console, Model 21 cathedral or console, or Model 46 cathedral or console.

Are you sure that it isn't repairable? I've see some pretty awful looking cabinets repaired, I've fixed a few myself. Dick Oliver, the fellow who makes the reproduction cabinets, also makes cabinet parts to repair original cabinets. I don't know if you can do that with a Philco 20 but it's worth looking into. If push comes to shove you should be able to find an empty cabinet or another 20 with a butchered chassis, it just takes time but they are out there.

hi guys,thanks for the responses. i don't have the cab here yet but from the pics the cab is toast. i got what i considered a good deal,the 20 and a 84b,both for $35 complete!.i'll see what i can do but both looked beyond my skill level to repair and money is a big issue now,as it is for most folks.
