I've got a 49-905 that I am trying to align the FM. I'm using my VTVM and output meter as it shows on the chart below. Under the heading "VTVM and output meter", #6 doesn't make sense. It says with the output meter across the voice coil-adjust (C7 the discriminator) for minimum output. If I do that, I lose the signal. What am I missing.
