Philco Part
#1

Hi all
I started to align my philco 37-675 in the alignment instructions to tune the RF and ANT. it refers to a part 45-2325 clipped
to the trimmer in the band 5 and band 4 to tune the these caps. Does anyone know anything about the 45-2325 item?  Icon_think
Thanks
Joe

That was a 350 pF variable capacitor, as I recall, and was set to make the second harmonic of the oscillator beat against the signal from your signal generator.

You can use any variable capacitor in the neighborhood of 350 to 365 pF or so, it does not have to be the actual 45-2325 item.
