New project today
#1

Opened the back of the truck today and found an RCA model 281 hiding back there.
Now how did that get in there?
Guess  I'll just have to bring it in, but it weighs 174 lbs.
Should look nice parked along side my model 280.
What a beast.

Should be a good radio as long as the input transformers are ok. I have had a few RCA's from this era and they all seemed to have at least one bad input transformer and at least one model used an odd one that had six wires coming out of it.

No matter where you go, there you are.

My back starting acting up for no reason since yesterday morning.
Now I know why - BECAUSE I LOOK AT THESE MONSTROUS RADIOS OF YOURS TOO MUCH !!!

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
