Got em Two 16b,s

Icon_eek Bought these today at auction in GARLAND TX. There in good hands now and will be resurrected back from the dark cold storage area where they been sitting for decades waiting to be rescued for a new life. Both for under 100$ Icon_eek Icon_clap Icon_wave Icon_eek What in the he!! is going on down there in Texas is what I wahna know? Icon_think

Thanks, Jim Sargent is good friend of mine also, ive refinished a number of things for him from coke cola machine to visible gas pump and antique radio cabinets. He and wife are good people.The auction went well although we were under severe thunder storm watch. Lots of philco radios were auction off, there where great buys ,prices were lower than expected.

I like restoring two similar radios at the same time. It helps uncover inconsistencies and helps prevent mistakes. You always have one to refer to when working on the other.

Heres a 16b that I restored a while back, have done several. The two that I got this weekend is an early and late version.
