Power supply for 37-33
#1

Will the ARBE-III http://www.radiolaguy.com/RadioPowerSupply.htm work for my 37-33?  I can't be certain based on the information I have read so far, so I am taking the lazy way out and just asking.

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift

Thanks Sam!  I had both the cathedral and the floor model and sold the cathedral on ebay (mistake).  But I would like to have the console working.

Thanks Bob.   I have corresponded with Ron for years but never signed on the Phorum.   Several of the 37 philcos in the gallery are mine.

Not sure if it will. The 37-33 requires two bias voltages  -3 and -9v. It's simple enough to wire up a battery or two for these voltages. Then all you need is +135v, 90v, and 2v for the filaments. Be sure to throttle back the filament voltage if you have been using the p/s on a set with 01A's.

ps After looking at the link it should work fine!!!

Thanks!  I had already ordered it.  I know I could rig it but I am getting lazy in my old age.

It's a good playing set . I've got the table model picked it up 30yrs ago. Was in ruff shape and was missing the spkr. Used an 8"pm  spkr w/a p/p output transformer.

Terry,

I had both the cathedral and floor models of the 37-33 and decided to part with the cathedral as the cabinet is the same as several other models I have on display.  BUT  it sold for less than $30 on ebay and it was in excellent condition.
