Philco 89B won't oscillate!

Don't de-solder the coil, bite it out as close to the pins as possible, then clean the lugs.
The wires should have a little slack to be able to solder them back when the coil is reinstalled.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.
