I actully fixed something!!!
#1

At ktown I got an Admiral 7T10 from1950 or so. Took a quick look at it look it in last night. Popped it out of the cabinet to find that the filters where replaced. Turned it on and tubes lit but no sound at all. Wiggled the output tube and nothing. Checked plate voltage 0. That makes sense. Output transformer was open. Have a test spkr w/a transformer so I hooked that up and it was playing sort of. Went to bed. This afternoon I went down to the basement and found a suitable replacement transformer and installed it Set was playing but the tuning was way off and didn't have the volume that it should. Upon closer inspection someone had wired the loop ant across the two stator sections of the tuning cap, connecting the ant and osc sections together. Once removed and wired correctly stations where they should be and has good volume.

One down a million more to go!
