It's got a 3mfd electrolytic cap(29) right off the B Battery. Was looking at the specs and was surprised to read that it only pulls down 6ma from the HV.

I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
