Aux input into a Philco 40-195
#4

At a cursory look I'm seeing a few people discussing wiring a jack into the volume pot. Is there anyone willing and able to give me a nutshell description of how that is (safely) done?

Ok the short answer is solder a piece of shielded wire to the center tab on the volume control (center conductor) Solder the shield to the junction of #42 and 44. Use this to feed your audio signal in. On your 1/8" stereo jack connect the ring and tip together(this is the audio out from the Ipod), it goes to center conductor and use the sleeve connection for the audio - ( the shield). Tune the dial to where there is no station for best results.

I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts

figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!
