Again...poor to no documentation...one gets used to it after awhile...it's a Philco thing...

Yes, it is too bad that Philco did not document like RCA, even going to the lengths of putting together a comprehensive under-chassis wiring diagram which showed not only where parts were located, but how they were wired together. But Philco did not do this. RCA had plenty of money, so they could afford to pay someone to do that. Philco - in the 1930s at least - focused on going as far as they could at the lowest possible cost. One result was the poor documentation of their products.

Post a photo of the underside of your chassis, let us see what it looks like.
