How do my mica trimmers look ?
#1

Sorry about upside down photo. Ipad issue.

I have two tuners from Philco 70's.
I removed one set of micas from one tuner , I, II, III.  I counted the turns from end before so.
The others are left in the other tuner IV, V VI.

III looks fairly good.  II has a crack in it. I has distortion on one end corner.

In the tuner VI has some feathering on edge, IV and V not so bad.

1.  Would all these micas probably work ?  Does a crack in one or feathering on the edge render it useless ?
2   Would you leave the other ones in the tuner alone?  The idea was to clean it though.
3.  I read someone on here used plastic with success, cool idea, as these things are not available.

THANKS !
