41-608 code 122
#2

Hi Dom and wellcome,
>Where's a good site to purchase capacitors?
I get mine from Sal's Capacitor Corner.
http://www.tuberadios.com/capacitors/

<Where can I purchase the string for the tuner (drive cord)? Tips on installation?
http://www.radiodaze.com/dial-cord-030-d...dc-030-25/
Or if you just need a few feet PM me w/your address and I'll drop some in the mail.

>Are there station button decals available anywhere?
http://philcoradio.com/phorum/showthread.php?tid=5148
Bear in mind that these are from the early '40s so they may not have more modern call signs on them. If your dedicated enough you could research what station was on the frequency that the modern one is on now to find it's '40s equivalent.

Hope this sufficiently answers your questions.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Terry
