I maybe doing a Stromberg 60 ( haven't decided yet) but I have the same problem as you in that the speaker is missing! You have already helped as I had no idea of the value of the Field Coil. You said you are using a Philco speaker where did you find one with a 3100 ohm FC? The best I can find is a 2.6k ohm did you add a resistor to make up the difference?
