50T Canadian-made
#1

At least I know it's a 50T, Canadian, and its model year is 1942.  More than that isn't coming easily, but it's coming.

(I included an inline photo here but the Phorum software interpreted it as a whopping number of characters and rejected my 851-character post as too long...so I removed the photo.  You'll have to just imagine a brown-coloured version of the 50T image linked below.)

It's exactly like the http://philcoradio.com/images/phorum/50t.jpg  photo, and the similarity to Desault's '41 model 49T as discussed in his "Indentification help needed, 1941 ish, 5 tubes" thread a few months back is consistent with 1941's knobs on the sides and 1942's knobs on the bottom that I've observed on many models.

In my "introduce Yourself" thread Ron encouraged me with details about the 50T, but it also discouraged me to learn that there was no USA equivalent. Still, it doesn't make economic sense for every radio model to have a unique chassis, so if If I can view the schematics of all the 1941-1942 USA Philcos maybe I'll find one or more with the same 6 tube list as mine. Where would I look for those schematics?
